Creativity is in my soul. I love creating long-form stories and ceramic art inspired by the worlds I read about and imagine. It takes about a year from start to finish for a book to reach its first readers, and even then it won't usually be a physical copy. After spending so much time creating with no promise of tactile proof, throwing a pot on the wheel and holding a finished piece of art in as little as two weeks is so satisfying. I must live a creative life and so rather than pick one art form, I'm choosing both.
